Interpretation
Patients determined to be ’’Negative’’ for TOXO IgG antibody are considered susceptible to primary TOXO infection.
Patients determined to be ’’Positive’’ for TOXO IgG antibody are considered to have had TOXO infection in the past or are currently infected. Such individuals are potentially at risk of transmitting TOXO infection but are not necessarily currently contagious.
