Centrifuge specimen within 20 minutes of collection
Plasma (no buffy coat!), 1.0 mL, frozen

EDTA plasma stored frozen until ready for transport to ARUP Laboratory

Causes for Rejection
Serum, non-EDTA plasma, specimen not submitted on ice, specimen at room temperature, specimen refrigerated >6 hours, insufficient quantity, unlabelled specimen
