8 inches of umbilical cord, drained of blood, rinsed, and patted dry. Submit in ARUP Umbilical Drug Detection kit.
Causes for Rejection
Cords soaked in blood or other fluids; cords that have been in formalin; cords that are obvisouly decomposed.
